ABOUT ME

I currently work with John O'Connell playing bass guitar in some of his live performances. Alongside this I like to work with other projects and musicians on various creative projects and live performace work. This is currently mainly Liverpool based but on occasion with my connections in the Bristol area where I grew up.

Moving to Liverpool in 1998 to study for my music degree at LIPA, I've stayed on working in various bands and teaching classical and bass guitar privately and in schools.

A bit of history...

At age 6, I insisted on taking up the guitar and I seemed to take to it like a duck to water, alongside singing and dancing. I was a natural with anything musical, performance-based or generally showing off!

After completing some classical guitar grades I took up the bass guitar in my teens and moved over to pop and live performance. I've been in a fair few bands since then, covering a wide rage of musical genres. My most notable early engagements were as a touring bass player with 'Up-Bustle-&-out' (Ninja Tunes Records), playing Glastonbury festival and touring worldwide.

I came to Liverpool in 1998 to study for my music degree and have grown fond of this vibrant, dynamic city with all its old world charm and rough edges.

It's great for live music and there is always a healthy appetite for good bands, and a love of music, partying, and pub life.

I was born in Bristol and still have a great love of the free-thinking and impish spirit that seems to still go strong there, with a healthy distrust of authority and a drive to innovate and party hard!

I met my husband Damon in 2012. Damon is a Cabinet maker/Antique restoration expert and deals in Victorian Staffordshire ceramics.
